Before couponing, I literally had no idea there was any rhyme or reason to why those coupons printed out at the register. My eyes are opened! You may not think that a $1 OYNO coupon will be worth it, but believe me it does! For example, yesterday I bought 10 pk Tyson boneless, skinless chicken breasts. On $1.69/lb this week, the sale price was $9.00. I used my $3 OYNO cat from an Old El Paso promotion a few weeks ago and got the whole pack of chicken for $5. It adds up!

We LOVE our Chex Mix in this house and I usually stock up at Weis when I can get them for $.50/bag. Apparently they are on sale at Target for $1.34. I plan on using 2 $1.00 off Target coupons and $1.10/2 q's from a booklet I found at Weis to score 2 bags of Chex mix for ...... free? Ok I'm not sure Target will let me do this, but I'm gonna try tomorrow!! Wish me luck!! :)

In our Lancaster county Giant ads this week were 4 $1 coupon doublers!! Yay! This would make the Birdseye steamfresh veggies free, but I think I might use them on something else. I'm taking the booger with me to Giant tonight, so I'll report back on the cheaps/frees you can score there. Go Giant!

9/27 Coupon Inserts

Just a heads up: you're going to want to get multiple newspapers this week. There will be 3 inserts, including the monthly P&G insert. Before couponing I used to think that insert was a waste, but those companies often put those EXACT items in the monthly insert on sale at the END of the month. For example, all the September P&G inserts (found in the 8/30 paper) are expiring 9/30 this week and guess what?? The drug stores are having a field day with the P&G sales!! I plan on getting 5 extra papers. I know some hardcore couponers get 10-20 every week, but I feel if it's a coupon I really need I could trade for it on A Full Cup or Hot Coupon World, or even find it on eBay. Happy Sunday morning!
