New Giant & Lowes in Lancaster 2010!

So apparently they are going through with plans to build a shopping center on Colonel Howard Blvd, right off the turnpike there next to 222. The 2 known anchor stores are Lowe's and Giant. I know some people aren't happy with more development in the area, but as a lifetime city girl and a couponer, I'm kinda really excited LOL. Of course I'm hoping the Giant DOES NOT have a gas station and therefore will be an instant savings store. Just to give you an idea, Cocalico Commons Shopping Center's lot is reportedly twice the size of the Ephrata Walmart's lot. What other stores would you like to see there? Another Rite Aid? CVS? Walgreens (GASP)??

Shopping News 1/20 Highlights

Historic Farmhouse Treasures of Denver is unfortunately going out of business. They have markdowns of 50%-70% off right now.

Ephrata Re-Uzit has 1/2 off red tag women's clothing, men's slacks, silverware & utensils. The Re-Uzit furniture store has 1/2 off all entertainment centers and $3.00 computer monitors.

Martin's (Family Owned Markets) Secret Sale is confirmed Saturday 1/23 from 6a-9p (the other Family Owned Markets Secret Sale is on Sunday).

If you are on facebook, make sure you look up Family Owned Markets and click "become a fan." Apparently they might release certain deals and sales to facebook fans.

Also, because the Martin's store in Ephrata is closed on Sundays, the "Secret Sunday Sale" is held on the previous Saturday. One of the deals this Secret Sat/Sun Sale is Turkey Hill iced tea for $.98. CHEAP if you scored the cute Turkey Hill calendar.

Wow! I know I just posted that it's hard to find good deals on Christian gifts, I guess I spoke too soon. Right now Dayspring is having their Christmas items up to 75% off. Check out this cute gift bag that tells the meaning of the Christmas tree -- for only $1.00!

New Berean Coupon

I just love these coupons! If you are a member of Facebook (and if you aren't, seriously?) log on and search "Berean". They periodically release coupons on their Facebook page. The newest one is 25% off any regular priced item. Since you really can't get too many really good deals on Christian resources and gifts, these coupons come in handy!! I have used this coupon in the past on home decor, actually it was a series of 3 sepia toned framed photographs with a Bible verse at the bottom that I gave to my parents as a gift. These types of coupons I like to just print out and put in my "Mall Stores" envelope that I keep in my purse. Just in case!

HOT Pepsi Deal

We are so excited here over this Pepsi deal starting tomorrow!! Check it out:

CVS will have Pepsi fridgepacks on sale 6/$20, get $10 ECB back. They've also just released a new $5/$20 printable coupon! Now this particular coupon is found in a newspaper in California, but CVS releases it to be printed and used in any store, I have personally used these many times before and have never had a problem. Here's what I'm doing tomorrow AM:

6 Fridgepacks= $20

-$5/$20 printable

-$10 ECB

=$5, or $1.20 per fridgepack, OR $.10 per can!!! AND get $10 ECB back!!

Then I'll turn right back around and do it one more time because this deal has a limit of 2 per card!

Now, if you are new to shopping at CVS or have no ExtraCare bucks (ECB) to start with, do the initial deal and you'll spend $15 OOP (which still isn't all that bad, $2.50 per fridgepack) and then you'll have the $10 ECB to use on the 2nd time. Cans of soda just don't get any cheaper than this, folks!

I would HIGHLY suggest you print or save the $5/$20 CVS coupon now (as a picture, don't just bookmark the website). They usually don't leave them up for too long and once it's gone, it's gone!
